Today I have a Thank You Card,
I went to a Tea Party Bridal Shower this past weekend and the Mother in law to be absolutely out did herself. So I wanted to let her know that I appreciated all the hard work she did to have a amazing day for Nicole.
Nicole and my daughter have been friends for over 20 years, so Nicole is like a daughter to me.
My card uses the new Time for Tea Bundle with the matching Thinlits
This set was perfect, since the shower was a tea party theme.

I did use some retired DSP (I'm waiting for my Tea Room Specialty DSP)
Which matched perfectly.

For the inside sentiments I used the Enjoy Life Stamp Set

Directions to make this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Calypso Coral Card Base folded in half.
3 3/4" x 4 1/2" DSP

Powder Pink scrap piece of Cardstock for Tea Cup- Stamp Tea Cup In Melon Mambo ink.
4" x4" Whisper White for Stitched Label Framelit
Night of Navy Bakers Twine
Share what you love Artisan Pearls

Rustic Wedding Card

Happy Monday Y'all,
Today I am sharing a wedding card I needed for a rustic wedding.
I used the Floral Phrases Stamp Set and the Petals and More Thinlit Dies.
The stamp set is a returning favorite in the annual catalog, which can be found on page 109. To personalize this card I cut out a tag and used the Make a Difference stamp set to add their initials. This card is simple but yet elegant.

that I secured around the Early Espresso piece.
I also added a little piece to the Twine bow with a glue dot and added another Pearl.
I tied a Jute Twine bow around the Whisper White piece as well and frayed the ends.
The Jute Twine is on clearance right now for $2.20 what a bargain! I stocked up!

I sponge the edges of the Whisper White piece with Crumb Cake ink
as well as the inside of the die cut flowers.
Finally I added the Pearls Basic Jewels for that added elegance.
I hope you like it!
I sponged the edges of the inside piece as well.

Directions to make this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Early espresso Cardstock folded in half.
5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White Cardstock (2) one for the inside and one for the outside.
4" x 1/1/4" Early Espresso Cardstock
Scrap piece of Whisper White for the personalized tag.
6" Polka Dot Ribbon and another 1" - 2" for bow
Wood Textures DSP for the Die Cut Flowers
Pearls

Sweet Stampede Blog Hop #005

Welcome to the Sweet Stampede's 5th blog hop, This month's theme is Anything Goes, so I chose the Rooted In Nature Stamp Set. The sentiment was perfect for a friend who just lost her mother, having my recent loss I knew exactly how she felt and sometimes words are never enough.

I love the sunset on this card and its so easy to do.

I punched a 2 1/2" Circle out of a piece of Whisper White cardstock, placed that piece on top of another Whisper White piece, then using the Daffodil Delight Ink  and  Sponge Brayer. I went over the punched circle until I got the amount of color I wanted.

Then I went over it using  Pumpkin Pie Ink until I got the color depth I wanted.

I Removed the punched piece of cardstock and Ta Da, This is what it looked like before adding the Trees and embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by I hope you try this technique and make this card as well. Now hop over to the creative and talented Trisha.

Directions to make this card:
1. Cut Crumb Cake 5 1/2 x 8 1/2” and fold. Cut Early Espresso 5 1/4 x 4”.
2. Cut two pieces of Whisper White that are 5 x 3 3/4”. With one of the Whisper White pieces cut out a 2 1/2” circle in the middle but a little more towards the top. Using the negative layer over the other Whisper White Piece and color in the sun with Daffodil Delight Ink and then Pumpkin Pie Ink at the top using a sponge brayer. Remove the mask and stamp the trees in Early Espresso Ink.
3. Adhere the stamped piece to Early Espresso and then wrap the Copper Trim around. Layer to the card.
4. Cut a piece of Whisper White that is 1/2 x 2” and stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink. Cut the end on an angle and attach to the card with a Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. Add a small button with a Mini Glue Dot. Make a bow with the White Bakers Twine and attach with a Mini Glue Dot.
