Latte Love- Hello Card

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another Latte Love card for you today. I tell you I can't put this online exclusive bundle down.

For today's card I used the dies to create the coffee pot and my coffee cup.

With this bundle you can make any of your cards into a gift card holder with any coffee shop gift card. Just add a pocket to the inside. Although I did not make this one into a gift card holder, I thought I should have afterwards. LOL

I started with an Azure Afternoon card base.
I layered a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of DSP to a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Calypso Coral cardstock and glued the layers to the card front.
I die cut the pieces for my coffee pot: Gray Granite carafe, Gold Foil handle & lid and Early Espresso coffee then glued the pieces together. I stamped my coffee cup with Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock and colored it in using Azure Afternoon Stampin' Blends. I die cut the cup with the matching die and a Basic White Postage Stamp Rectangle, using the Perennial Postage dies. I placed my die cut pieces where I wanted them, then stamped the coffee in Early Espresso ink to make it look like it's going into the cup. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral on the left side of the cup. I then adhered the pieces using Dimensionals. I die cut several coffee beans from the DSP and glued them around. I added the rectangle to the card front using Dimensionals.
I glued a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and stamped the coffee beans along the bottom in Early Espresso ink.
What do you think? Will you be making this card? Please leave me a comment below.

Latte Love- Card

Hello everyone!

Who loves coffee as much as I do?

I love the Latte Love bundle. I'm still using it. For those of you who ordered my class know just how much I love coffee especially with the pillow gifts I included.

Anyhow on to today's card. I made this for a friend, her and I love to sit around and drink our coffee as we reminise.

I started with an Early Espresso card base added some DSP to the left side and added a Basic White layer with another piece of DSP layered on it. I added two pieces of Polka Dot trim under the Basic White layer. I stamped the coffee cups in Memento Black ink then colored them with Lost Lagoon & Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends.
I stamped the spoon and colored it with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. I die cut all three pieces and glued them to the Basic White layer. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral in the top right corner. I added some swirl Dots to finish the card off.

Lighter Than Air- Swap Card

Hello everyone!

Today I have the card I made for my swaps for On Stage in Houston. I made 40 of these cards to swap with 40 others.

I used the Hot Air Ballon and the Lighter Than Air DSP . The DSP will be retiring soon.

This was another quick and easy card, I used a couple of layers then die cut the pieces for my balloon and added them to a Stylish Shaped Circle where I stamped the balloon basket in Azure Afternoon ink.
I stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink as well and die cut it with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I added a Lemon Lolly bow and dots.
Super easy to make. We like quick and easy, right?

Best Ever Aunt, Birthday Card

Hello everyone!

I'm currently in California for a couple of weeks. I have some cards to share with you this week. Today I have a quick and easy card that I made for my Aunt for her 84th birthday.

I used the Best Family Ever stamp set and the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder.

I love being able to personalize my cards.
With the Best Family Ever stamp set you can make a card for almost anyone.

To make this simple card I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Berry Burst cardstock, folded in half. I added a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock for the first layer. I then added Versamark to my embossing folder and embossed a 5" x 4" piece of Bubble Bath cardstock. I added Gold Embossing Powder and heat embossed it. Don't you just love how the Gold flowers stand out?
I added a 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Berry Burst cardstock in the center using Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiments on a Stylish Shapes Square using Berry Burst ink and added it to the card front using Dimensionals.
I punched out some Bubble Bath & Vellum boughs with the Bough Punch and adhered them using Mini Glue Dots. I tied a White Bakers Twine bow and adherde that with a Mini Glue Dot as well.
Easy Right? So fun. Scroll down for the measurements to make this card.

April We Create Blog Hop- April Showers

Hello everyone! Happy April Fools, no fooling around here. We have some amazing projects for you!

Welcome to another, We Create Blog Hop.

This month's theme is April Showers. I chose to use two bundles for today's project. I used the Playing In The Rain and Filled With Fun stamp sets & dies. The Filled with Fun bundle is an online exclusive, which means you have to go online to get it, it is not in any catalog.

I like combining stamps sets when creating. I thought the wagon with the flowers (Filled With Fun) and the turtle holding a flower (Playing in the Rain) went perfect together.

To make this simple card I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, folded in half. I stamped the clouds, raindrops and puddles in Balmy Blue ink on a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock. I adhere that to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I die cut the following pieces:
  • Wagon in Real Red cardstock
  • Railing in Crumb Cake cardstock
  • Wheels in Basic Black cardstock
  • Rims in Basic Gray cardstock
  • Heart in Granny Apple Green cardstock
  • Handle in Basic Gray cardstock and stamped in Memento ink
I glued the pieces together. I then stamped the turtle and flowers in Memento ink on Basic White cardstock. I colored them in using Granny Apple Green, Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I die cut the flowers and turtle with their matching dies.
I glued the flowers to the wagon then adhered it to the card front using Dimensionals.
I added my turtle with Dimensionals as well. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I adhered that to the card front using Dimensionals. That was it! So easy to make and you can replicate it to many many at a time.

Look at how adorable the wagon is.
What do you think? Will you be making this card? Please let me know in the comments.
