April We Create Blog Hop- April Showers

Hello everyone! Happy April Fools, no fooling around here. We have some amazing projects for you!

Welcome to another, We Create Blog Hop.

This month's theme is April Showers. I chose to use two bundles for today's project. I used the Playing In The Rain and Filled With Fun stamp sets & dies. The Filled with Fun bundle is an online exclusive, which means you have to go online to get it, it is not in any catalog.

I like combining stamps sets when creating. I thought the wagon with the flowers (Filled With Fun) and the turtle holding a flower (Playing in the Rain) went perfect together.

To make this simple card I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock, folded in half. I stamped the clouds, raindrops and puddles in Balmy Blue ink on a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock. I adhere that to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I die cut the following pieces:
  • Wagon in Real Red cardstock
  • Railing in Crumb Cake cardstock
  • Wheels in Basic Black cardstock
  • Rims in Basic Gray cardstock
  • Heart in Granny Apple Green cardstock
  • Handle in Basic Gray cardstock and stamped in Memento ink
I glued the pieces together. I then stamped the turtle and flowers in Memento ink on Basic White cardstock. I colored them in using Granny Apple Green, Real Red and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I die cut the flowers and turtle with their matching dies.
I glued the flowers to the wagon then adhered it to the card front using Dimensionals.
I added my turtle with Dimensionals as well. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I adhered that to the card front using Dimensionals. That was it! So easy to make and you can replicate it to many many at a time.

Look at how adorable the wagon is.
What do you think? Will you be making this card? Please let me know in the comments.

March to a Different Beat- We Create Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another, We Create Blog Hop.

This month's theme is March to a different beat. I chose to use the Bee My Valentine Bundle for a St. Patrick's day goodie box. This stamp set was designed for Valentines, but I'm Marching to a different beat by using it for St. Patricks Day.

As most of you know I love to make treat packages. I found these adorable Bumble Bee Marshmallows at Walmart and they are individually wrapped too,  woo hoo.

Bee's like four leaf clovers too, right?

This box is easy to create and the clear lid give's you a sneak peek at the adorable bee marshmallows!

I used a 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of Garden Green cardstock to create my box.
I scored all four sides at 1".  Burnish all of the score lines. I cut up the score lines on the long sides. I glued each of the tabs to the inside of the box. This created my box bottom.
used a 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of Window Sheet and scored all four sides at 1".  I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool because you have to go over the score lines several times on the Window Sheet. This time I cut off all four of the tabs, I burnished the score lines and added the lid to the inside of the box bottom.
I tied some Garden Green Ribbon around the box and finished with a bow at the top.
I die cut the third to the largest scalloped circle from the Thoughtful Expressions dies out of Basic White cardstock. I die cut four hearts in Garden Green cardstock using the Give it a Whirl dies.
I stamped the stem in garden Green ink on the scalloped circle. I glued the hearts to the stem to make it look like a four leaf clover. I stamped "Love You" in Sweet Sorbet ink. Using the Bee Builder Punch, I punched out the bee body in Basic White cardstock. (I like to punch my pieces first then stamp). I stamped the bee's body in Daffodil Delight ink, then the stripes and face in Memento Black ink. I punched the two hearts out in Vellum, stamped them in Black Stazon ink. I adhered all of the pieces together using Liquid Glue. I added the bee to the scalloped circle using Dimensionals. I punched a hole at the top of the circle and used Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine to tie the scalloped circle to the Garden Green bow. I added a Gold Blooming Pearl to the center of the clover.

What do you think? Will you be making this box? Please let me know in the comments.

Heartfelt Hellos, Mother's Day & Easter Cards

Hello Everyone, Welcome back

Today is the last day of SAB. There are many amazing products to choose from.

My shopping links are below. 🛒🛍 xoxo

Today I have two projects using the  Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set & the Softly Stippled DSP .

Today I have two cards for you! On Tuesday I made a Dad card, today I have a card for Mom and a Easter card.

We'll start with the Mom card.

Click on the picture to view the products I used to make this card.

I started with a Tahitin Tide card base.
Using Masking Tape, I die cut a Scalloped Circle using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies.
I adhered that to the center of a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock.
I used my blending brushes, Tahitian Tide and Gorgeous Grape ink pads. I blended the top and bottom in Gorgeous Grape ink and the center with Tahitian Tide ink.

I removed the masking tape and stamped "Happy Mother's Day" in Gorgeous Grape ink.
Using my bone folder I curled the top left and bottom right corners. Then adhered it to a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Pebbled Path cardstock. I glued the layers to the card front.
I cut two sets of flowers out of the DSP and glued them to the card front. I brushed the flowers with Wink of Stella.
I added some Purple Fine Shimmer Dots to the sentiment. Tied a double Tahitian Tide Baker's Twine bow and adhered to the flowers at the bottom. I added a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic white cardstock to the inside.

Now let's see the Easter card,
Click on the picture to view the products I used to make this card.

As you can tell I like layers hahaha.
I used a Lost Lagoon card base, I adhered a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of DSP to a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Wild Wheat cardstock. I glued them to the card front. I die cut a Wild Wheat banner using the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered that to the card front on the left side. I chose to cut out some more flowers from the DSP. I adhered them to the banner using Liquid Gue and Dimensionals. I punched out some flower stems using the Bough Punch and Vellum. I adhered them to the banner as well.  I tied a Lost Lagoon Ribbon knot and adhered that to the flower stem. I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut it with the Flag die. I added it to the front of the card with dimensionals. I finished it with adding some Iridescent Pastel Gems. I added a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside.

Scroll all the way to the bottom to get the measurements to make these cards.
