Daffodil Daydream Sympathy Card

Hi, Happy Saturday.

I hope you are getting some crafting in.

Today I have another one of those least favorite cards to make.

A Sympathy card. My friend lost her father, so I needed another card.

I love the NEW Daffodil Daydream Bundle! I have always loved Daffodils, I think because they remind me of Spring and I'm so ready for spring 😂.

This card was so simple to make, I just added layers of cardstock and Designer Series Paper (this one is retired, but there are so many others to use like the Artfully Composed).
I love using my Stampin' Blends, I colored the Daffodils with Daffodil Delight and the stems with Old Olive Blends. I love the look of the lace Ribbon.
The Flirty Flamingo Butterfly along with the Brass Butterflies are a perfect finishing touch.

Don't forget to stamp the inside.
I added another Flirty Flamingo Butterfly and the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink.
The stamp set was a SAB item, but you can subsitute with the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Measurements for this card:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Evening Evergreen folded in half-Card Base

3 3/4" x 4 3/4" Daffodil Delight- First Layer

3 5/8" x 4 5/8" DSP- Second Layer

4" x 5 1/4" Basic White- Inside Layer

Basic White for the sentiment and the Daffodils.

We'll Get Through This Together Card

 Hello!

I have been having so much fun using the Here Together Bundle!

Although one of my least favorite cards to make are Sympathy. This set was perfect.

It's so versitle. My best friend recently lost her mother. I wanted her to know that I was going to be there for her and I promise. I know what she is going through, since I lost my mom almost two years ago.

Click on the photo to see a list of products I used to make this card.

My friends favorite color is blue, so I used the Balmy Blue Blends to color her nails and I usually have red nail polish so I used the Real Red Blends. I colored our hands using the NEW Medium and Light Stampin' Blends. The colors were perfect for our flesh.
I first stamped the hands with Memento ink, then masked the hands and usied my Blending Brush with Daffodil Delight Ink  to add color behind the hands.
I stamped the sentiments in Misty Moonlight ink.
I finished it off with the bracelets, One hand I used the Iridescent Rhinestons and the other I used the Matted Dots which are now retired, you can subsitute Red Rhinestones.
I think the bracelets were perfect to give the card some bling.

My friend and I have been friends for over 25 years, we are more like sisters.
I wanted to be there for her, every step of the way.
I think my card let's her know that.
The sentiment is from the Eden's Garden Stamp Set.
It was perfect!
Measurements for this card:

4 1/4" x 11" Misty Moonlight folded in half-Card Base

4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Daffodil Delight- Top Layer

4" x 5 1/4" Basic White- Hand Layer

4" x 5 1/4" Basic White- Inside Layer

Here Together -Team Member Card

Hi everyone!

I am loving the Here Together bundle!

This bundle is so versitile, I've used it for sympathy, celebrating, thinking of you and just because.

One of my team members is doing an amazing job and I wanted to let her know how proud of her I am.

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card.

I used Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight as my colors.
I used some DSP that was from SAB, you can subsitute with the Brights DSP.

I used a stamp set that is only available to demonstrators and
the Here Together stamp set for the inside sentiments.
I love the NEW flesh color Stampin' Blends, they make coloring so easy.
I even added nail polish haha.
I wanted her to know I am her biggest cheerleader.
I stamped this on the back of the card.
This stamp is in the set for demonstrators only.
You can join my team and get the set too!
I know she was so happy to receive this card and for the goodies I sent her as well.
I hope you like the card and make one too.
