Pick A Season- Friend Card

Hello Everyone! 

Here is my second card featuring the Pick A Season stamp set. Since this set does not have any sentiments so I paired it with the Lifelong Friends stamp set.

This stamp set is one you can earn for free when you spend $60.

My friend loves shamrocks and I made this card for her.

I had to go with Shy Shamrock cardstock and ink since I was using the shamrocks.

I decorated the inside on this card too.

I started with a Shy Shamrock card base. 

I adhered a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Shy Shamrock DSP. I used a blending brush to blend some Granny Apple Green ink on the bottom of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the grass in Granny Apple Green ink then the fence in Early Espresso across. I stamped the tree in Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green and Shy Shamrock ink on another piece of Basic White cardstock.  I trimmed the tree out using my paper snips and added it to the center of the card using Dimensionals. I stamped the clouds in Pool Party ink on Basic White cardstock and fussy cut tem out and added them to the card using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green on Basic White cardstock and die cut with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I added that with Dimensionals. I added a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside and stamped the shamrocks down the right side in Shy Shamrock ink and the sentiment in Granny Apple Green ink. I finished with a Shy Shamrock Ribbon bow to the tree.

1. 4 1/4" x 11" Shy Shamrock cardstock, folded in half-card base
2. 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Shy Shamrock DSP-layer
3. 5 1/4" x 4"  Basic White- layer
4. 4" x 3" Basic White- tree
5. scraps of Basic White- clouds
6. 1" x 2 1/4" Basic White- sentiment
7. 5 1/4" x 4"  Basic White- inside
8. Shy Shamrock Ribbon

Pick A Season- Thinking of You Card

Hello Everyone!

This week I will be featuring the Pick A Season stamp set. This set does not have any sentiments so I paired it with the Lifelong Friends stamp set.

This stamp set is one you can earn for free when you spend $60.

I love the colors in this card.

I used some texture to make this multi layered card.

I decorated the inside as well.

I started with a Petal Pink card base. 

I embossed a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock with the Starstruck Embossing Folder another SAB choice. I tore a piece of Pool Party cardstock in half and glued it to the Melon Mambo piece and added the layered piece to the card front. I die cut the largest Stylish Shapes circle in Pool Party cardstock, I trimmed part of the circle off and glue the larger piece of the circle to the embossed piece. I stamped the tree in Pecan Pie, Garden Green and Melon Mambo inks on Basic White cardstock. I fussy cut the tree out and added it the the card front using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment on a 1/2" x 3" piece of Basic White cardstock in Memento Black ink and angled the ends. I added it to the card with Dimensionals. I added some Sunny Day Iridescent Dots to the card.

For the inside I added the leftover piece of torn Pool Party cardstock to the left side. I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo ink on the bottom right corner.

Coffee and Crafts, 2-2-25

Hello everyone,

Today I had my very first Coffee and Crafts live over on my Facebook page. I will go live every Sunday at 8:00am MT.

To say the least it was a complete disaster hahaha. I guess that is what happens when it's the first one. Facebook has made some changes to their live videos. So in my video everything was backwards. I can not figure out how to flip it to be correct?? Then my camera some how moved and I was out of frame. Thankfully I was able to edit the video and flip it so you could see everything correctly. I did have to re-record some of the video too.

Hopefully next Sunday will be better.

I made three projects using the Bee My Valentine stamp set and the Cute As Can Bee DSP. I LOVE this DSP. The Petunia Pop Oh My!

February Sweet Stampede Blog Hop

Hello! 

Welcome to February and another Sweet Stampede Blog Hop!

This month's theme is a design sketch. All of the participants will use the design sketch on their projects.

This is our design sketch for this month

I used the online exclusive Adventure Together Bundle.

As many of you know we have an RV and we travel a lot in it. So when I seen this bundle I had to have it! It's so much fun to create with.

For the camper I used Gray Granite, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party and Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color it in.

Don't you just love the fire pit and chairs?

We have blue camping chairs so I used Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blends to color them in.

I also used Pumpkin Pie, Gray Granite and Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends for the fire pit.

Of course when we are camping in our camper we are "Happy Campers" haha, so I had to add that sentiment.

For the moon & stars I used Versamark and White Embossing powder and heat embossed them. I also stamped the trees in Pool Party ink on the inside.

Did you notice I have two chairs facing each other?

The bundle only comes with one chair stamp and die. See how I created a reverse one, below.

How cool and easy is that? Will you try it?

The Adventure Together Stamp Set & Dies

Measurements for this card:

1. 4 1/4" x 11" Misty Moonlight cardstock, folded in half.
2. 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Shades & Hues DSP, adhere to the front.
3. 2 3/4" x 3" Misty Moonlight cardstock, adhere to the card front at an angle.
4. 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" Pool Party cardstock, using a Blending Brush blend some Pool Party ink at the bottom then adhere to the card front at an angle.
5. Stamp the RV, chair and fire pit in Memento Black ink. Color in with Stampin' Blends of your choice.
6. Stamp the other chair in Memento Black ink on a Silicone Mat and then add the cardstock on top. Follow the instructions on picture above.
7. Die cut all of the images and adhere to the card front using Dimensionals.
8. Stamp the sentiment in Pool Party ink on Basic White cardstock, die cut with the rectangle die. Adhere to the card front using Dimensionals.
9. Tie a Basic White Bakers Twine Bow and adhere at the bottom of the sentiment using a Mini Glue Dot.

Heart Shaped-Thank You Card

Hello Everyone! TGIF

Today I have my final card featuring the SAB Heart Shaped Bundle. 

This is another quick and easy card. You can replicate it easily.

I started with a Thick Basic White card base. 

I glued a  5 3/8" x 4 1/8 " piece of Wildflower Birthday DSP to the card front. I love the Pretty in Pink Gingham pattern! I stamped the hearts three times in Pretty in Pink ink across a piece of Basic White cardstock. I layered that piece to a Piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock and adhere it to the card base. I used the retired stamp set Simply Scripted and stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. You can use any sentiment that you have. That is it! So easy right?

Heart Shaped- Fun Fold Card

Hello Everyone! 

I hope you enjoyed yesterdays video, wasn't the treat bag so cute?

Today I have another card featuring the SAB Heart Shaped Bundle. 

This card is a fun fold. I like to make fun fold cards.

I started with a Soft Seafoam card base. 

I scored a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock at 1/2". I glued the 1/2" section to the inside right edge of the card.

I added a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside. 

I then added a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of DSP to the card front and a 4" x 3 1/2" piece of DSP to the front flap. I tied some ribbon around the card and finished with a bow on the left side.

Stamped the heart in Melon Mambo ink on a Stylish Shaped circle. Die cut a Pretty in Pink heart and glued that over the Melon Mambo heart. Stamped the sentiment on Basic White cardstock and die cut it with the label die and added it to the center with Mini Dimensionals. 

Measurements for this card:

1. 4 1/4" x 11" Soft Seafoam cardstock, folded in half-card base
2. 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" piece of Soft Seafoam cardstock, scored at 1/2"- flap
3. 2 1/2" x 3" Pretty in Pink -Heart
4. 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Basic White- Circle
5. 1/2" x 2"  Basic White - Flowers
6. 1/2" x 2"  Pretty in Pink - Flowers
7. 5 1/4' x 4" Basic White cardstock- inside
8. Scrap of Basic White- Sentiment
9. Iridescent Faceted Gems- Flower centers
10. Iridescent Ribbon
