What do I do with my scraps??

 Hello! Welcome back!

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, what do you do with all of your scrap pieces of designer series paper and cardstock. Well today I'll show you what I do with them.

I used them to make cards of course. But here are several ways on how to use up those scraps.

On all of the cards I glued the pieces to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock. Then layered it onto my card base with Dimensionals.

#1. Use the pieces you have:

On this card & the card below, I glued all of the different size pieces I had to fill up the cardstock.

#2 use a larger piece as a focal point:

On this card I had a large piece of DSP so I glued it to the center then added all my pieces around it.

#3 Cut your DSP into strips:

On this card I cut my DSP into 1/2" strips and glued them diagonally. This is a fun way to use up your scraps too.

Here I glued the pieces I had to the Basic White Cardstock. 

Some of your pieces will hang over the edges.

Once all the pieces are glued down, trim off the excess that hangs over the edge and boom, you have a fun card made of many scrap pieces of DSP.

You can do this with cardstock pieces too!

Decorate as you wish and your recipient will love the card!
