Sweet Stampede May Blog Hop-Notes & Totes

Hello everyone!

I'm so excited!! May is here and so is another Sweet Stampede Blog Hop! Plus the new annual catalog will go live in just 5 days!!

This month our theme is a design sketch plus using three of the new In Colors, Timid Tiger, Secret Sea and Darling Duckling. Everyone will use the design sketch and colors in their projects.

I love this sketch because I can use up my scraps!!

To make this card I started cutting strips of Darling Duckling, Secret Sea and Timid Tiger using scraps that I had. My strips were  1/4" & 1/2" wide and various lengths.
I layered my strips onto a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock alternating how I placed them. I went back and filled in the open areas then trimmed off the excess.
I created my tote using the Notes & Totes bundle. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bundle! Put it on your wish list for when the catalog goes live in just 5 days.
I added the layered piece to my card base, die cut a Very Vanilla Stylish Shapes circle stamped my sentiment in Secret Sea ink and added a bow.
How fun! This card was so easy to make. Now you can use up your scraps.
I glued my strips to my Basic White cardstock, alternating them.
After I trimmed of the access. I used the pieces I trimmed off to fill in the open spots.

Here is another card I created. This time I added my strips diagonally and left no space in between. The design sketch is to help you with a starting point. I created two cards using the sketch to get me creating. Now be sure and hop along with the rest of my teammates and please leave a comment.

Measurements for my card:
  1. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Secret Sea cardstock. Fold in half.
  2. 5 1/4" x 4" Basic White cardstock - Layer for the cardstock strips.
  3. 5 1/4" x 4" Basic White cardstock- Inside
  4. Various size strips of Darling Duckling, Secret Sea & Timid Tiger cardstocks.
  5. 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" Very Vanilla- Tote
  6. 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Very Vanilla- Stylish Shapes Circle
  7. 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" Darling Duckling- Scarf.
  8. 2" x 2" Timid Tiger- Handle
  9. 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" Timid Tiger- Tote accents.

Sophisitcated Sled Card

Hello Everyone!

Today I have a card for you, It is a bit early for winter LOL. But you can never be too early, right? I'm using the Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set because it's in the last chance sale for only $12.00 USD ($24.00 value) a 50% savings. The dies are no longer available but you can fussy cut your images if you don't have the dies already. As all last chance products their available while supplies last. Don't miss out on this stamp set.

I used the Country Woods DSP for the sled and paired it with Pool Party DSP and cardstock.
I love the little Cardinal I added at the top of the sled.
I used Pool Party ink to stamp the snowflakes on the card base and for the sentiment.

The stamp set is perfect for your winter cards!

Flowers of Beauty Cards

Hello Everyone!

Today I have some fun cards for kids! I used the Flowers of Beauty Bundle to make these quick and easy cards. The Flowers of Beauty Stamp Set is on sale for $21.60 ($24 value) and the Flowers of Beauty Dies are $29.60 USD ($37.00 value) They are only available while supplies last. Shop here: https://bit.ly/ShopSUwithLC

These cards were so easy to make but yet so pretty!
Don't you agree?
The sentiment on this card is from the Unbounded Love stamp set.

Basically for these cards I just used the die cuts and layered them on a piece of Basic White cardstock and added a sentiment. So easy to make. On this card the sentiment is from a new stamp set coming May 6, 2025. It's called Blooming Phrases. I love the font!
