Thinking of You Card

Happy Friday, Happy 4th of July Weekend too!

I hope you get to enjoy some time crafting and spending time with your family.

I plan on spending time with my family and just enjoying the sun and swimming pool at my brothers house.

Today I have a very colorful card for you. I used the colorful Pattern Party DSP.

I just love this DSP. I need to stock up on it LOL. This DSP makes card making so easy!

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card

I layered the Heart DSP on top of a piece of Basic Black cardstock
and popped the layers up on top of a Basic White card base with Stampin' dimensionals.
I added a Basic White Scalloped edge piece of cardstock across the middle.

I cut out a Scalloped Basic Black circle and layered a Basic White circle on top.
I took the colors from the DSP and added a Bermuda Bay, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie & Granny Apple Green Heart to the circles, then stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink.
I popped that up with dimensionals to the center of the card front.
I finished it off by brushing some Wink of Stella on the hearts.

Timeless Tropical Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

Well today concludes me using the True Love DSP.

All week I've been showing you different ways to use it, with color or without.

Today I used the Blending Brushes and Stampin' Blends to color the DSP.

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card.
For this card I added a piece of DSP for the background and layered another piece onto a piece of cardstock.
I used my Blending Brush with Balmy Blue ink to color the flowers in. I then used the Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the leaves in. I like the way the leaves are a little bolder making them stand out.
I used the Tailored Tag punch to punch out a Basic Black and Basic White tag, I cut the Black tag in half and layered it behind the White tag. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and added a few Rhinestones.
I added the White bow to finish it off.

Thank you for joining me all week, while I showcased the True Love DSP.
It's only available until June 30th.
Which card was your favorite of the week?
Comment below and let me know.
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half
5 1/4" x 4" DSP
3" x 4" DSP
3 1/8" x 4 1/8" Balmy Blue cardstock
3" x 2" Basic White for the tag

A Grand Kid Card

 Hi,

Today I decided to pull out my A Grand Kid stamp set to go with the True Love DSP.

This is another super easy card to make.

Today I used Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card.
My daughters favorite color is purple and I thought I'd make this card for her.
Although the stamp set is called A Grand Kid, you can use it for anyone.
I used the blending brush on both of my pieces of DSP this time with Gorgeous Grape ink.
I wrapped the beautiful Gorgeous Grape Ribbon around the card and tied a bow near the top.
I cut out a Scalloped Rectangle and Tag using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.
Let's not forget the inside, I thought this sentiment was perfect for my daughter.
She'd think it was funny.
Tomorrow I'll be finishing off the week with my last quick and easy card using the True Love DSP.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for stopping by, I am still showcasing the True Love DSP. Retiring soon, June 30th.

Today I'm making a Thank You card using the Flowers of Friendship stamp set.

Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make this card.
On this card I used my blending brushes and colored the flowers in Poppy Parade and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. Just adding some subtle color.
You can blend on as much ink as you want the more you add the darker the color is.
I also blended the Poppy Parade ink around the edges of the card base.
I used the Scalloped Contours Dies for my Scalloped Rectangle.
I used the Tailored Tag punch for my sentiment.
I stamped the sentiment in Granny Apple Green.
I finished it off with some Clear Rhinestones.
Do you like how I used the DSP today?
Would you have done it differently?
Let me know, comment below.
Measurements for this card:

Flowers of Friendship Card

Hello everyone!

Today I am using the same amazing DSP on my card. The True Love DSP!

On this card I choose not to color the DSP, the color is all in the tag.

Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make this card
I used the new In color, Polished Pink.
It gives that big pop of color to the Black and White DSP.
I cut five strips of DSP and adhered them to the front.
I then stamped my flowers in Memento Black ink and colored them in using Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
I stamped the sentiment over the flowers using Memento Black ink.
I adhered the tag with dimensionals to the front.
I added a Polished Pink Ribbon Bow and some Clear Rhinestones to finish it off.
Another easy peasy card. What do you think?
You could make a lot of these cards in a little time.
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half
1" x 4" strips of DSP (5)
1 1/2" x 4 1/2" Basic White for the tag

Smile it's Your Time to Shine!

Hi, Happy Monday.
I hope you all had a great weekend. It's was VERY HOT, here in Northern California.
I stayed in my craft room trying to beat the heat!
This week I will be focusing on the Retiring True Love DSP. It is only available until June 30th or while supplies last. I love this DSP because it's all Black and White. You can add color if you want or use it the way it is. This week I'll show you several ways to use it.
Today's card I used Mango Melody with the Black and White DSP.
Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make this card
I love how bright Mango Melody is.
I used my Blending Brush and Mango Melody ink to color the top piece for some bright color.
I cut a Basic Black Scalloped Rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I heat embossed the Sentiment using White Embossing Powder.
The sentiment is from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set.
I finished it off with a Mango Melody Medium Daisy stamped in Memento Black before I punched it out. I added a few Clear Rhinestones to the tag.
Easy peasy!!
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half
Two pieces of 4" x 3" DSP, use opposite sides.
3 1/2" x 3 1/2" Basic Black for Tag
Mango Melody 2" x 2" two pieces for Daisy
