Tear your card in half diagonally and create a fun look on the front of your card.

My post that was schedules for last Thursday never posted. Not sure why, but I have it for you today. Although these would have been great as favors for Father's Day you can also use them for a BBQ favor. I made these single one's for my husbands birthday BBQ. If you remember I made a double sauce holder for my Workshop Wednesday project on May 28th. I'll post the video for you below.
I made the single one pretty much the same way. The BBQ sauce bottle was a little bit taller and only one bottle, so the measurements had to be adjusted.
I created the stickers on Avery.com and layered it on a 2" Real Red cardstock circle.
These were just as much fun making as the double ones.
I also made some rub to go with the BBQ sauce.
I put the rub in small bags and made another label to put on the bag.
Everyone LOVED them both!
The rub recipe was simple:
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Red Chile Powder
1/3 Cup Green Chile Powder
1/4 Cup Salt
2 TBSP Black Pepper
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
If you don't like it too spicy you can leave out one of the chile powders and the red pepper flakes. We're from New Mexico so Red and Green chile is a must haha.
Here is the video from my May 28, 2025 Workshop Wednesday.
The single one goes together the same way. I have the measurements below.
Measurements for the BBQ sauce holder:
4" x 4" Pecan Pie cardstock (2) score one piece at 1" on all 4 sides and the other at 1" on all sides except use a shim (see video). Die cut the piece that you used the shim on with a circle die. Cut the score lines and create your box on both pieces.
2" x 6 1/4" Pecan Pie cardstock (2), score both pieces at 5" & 5 1/4". Mountain & Valley fold the score lines. Adhere the pieces to the box.
1 7/8" x 4 7/8" Country Woods DSP adhere to the large sections of the cardstock.
1 7/8" x 7/8" Country Woods DSP adhere to the small sections of the cardstock.
I used a 2" circle punch for my label and I used the retired Tailored Tags die for the tag.
