Workshop Wednesday 7-28-21 Playful Penguins

Hello everyone!

Happy Workshop Wednesday!!

Today I have my video replay for you.

I made this adorable box for a package of travel tissue.

I used some new products that are coming August 3, 2021.

Pierced Blooms Party Favor

 Hello all,

As I told you yesterday, this past Saturday we celebrated our Granddaughters 15th Birthday.

I had the honor of making her favors, which were a Bath & Body Works Candle.

Her theme was Garden with flowers, so I pulled out my Pierced Blooms dies. One of my favorites!! No matter what colors you use, the flowers you create are so pretty.

Her colors were Mint Macaron, So Saffron and Petal pink, so that is what I used to make my flowers. Soft and subtle colors.

I printed the info on my computer first on Basic White cardstock.

I cut out the Tag using the Scalloped Contour dies.

There was a lot of die cutting involved LOL!

But the beautiful flowers are so worth it!

I added Wink of Stella to the flowers once I was done assembling them all to give them some sparkle.

I wrapped the candles in Pink, Green and yellow tissue paper (there were different scents of candles & they matched the color of tissue) and put them in a cello bag and tied my tag on with some curling ribbon.

I was happy with the end result. So easy especially when you have to make a lot hahaha.

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

I sure did, we celebrated our Granddaughter's 15th birthday with a big party. It was so nice to gather again with family and friends it has been way too long!

I was also busy making my customer thank you cards.

In The Wild Boozy Gift Bag

Hello everyone,

It has been a week since I have posted.

I have been spending some quality time with my family in HOT Palm Springs California.

We celebrated my brothers birthday while we were there. I love spending time with my family.

I'm sharing with you my Workshop Wednesday video from last week, while I was vacationing.

Thinking of You Card

Hello!

I have another card using the amazing In The Wild DSP, which also is on sale woo hoo!

I made a card similar to this on my Workshop Wednesday last week. 

I just love this DSP and can't stop using it!

I layered Soft Succulent cardstock on an Evening Evergreen card base then added a layer of the beautiful DSP, don't you just love the plants on it?

I cut out a couple of tigers using my paper snips and popped them up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink on Basic White cardstock, cut the words individually, popped them up with Mini Dimensionals.

I added some Wink of Stella to the Tigers stripes, you know me I love to add some sparkle.

I love how the DSP does all of the work for you, so quick and easy to make!

I can't help it, I really do love this DSP.

Thinking of You, Christmas Card

Hello everyone,

Happy Monday, I hope you all had a great weekend.

I was busy creating, trying to get ahead for the week. I'm going to take a few days off to go to Palm Springs. We are taking the grandchildren to get some rest and relaxation. hahaha, do you think we'll be able to relax with the grandchildren? We'll make some great memories though.

My card today is a Christmas card. Is it too early for Christmas?? For me it's never too early to get ahead LOL.

This card is a simple layout, and easy to replicate.
This card uses the Tidings of Christmas DSP.
I started out with a Sahara Sand card base.
I layered a piece DSP on Basic White cardstock.
I cut three 2" x 2" squares from the DSP, adhered the two matching squares with liquid Glue and the center square with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink and used the Everyday Label punch to punch it out. I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now how easy was that??

Another #simplestamping card.

So easy to replicate with any DSP you have.

Best Day Ever Card

Hi my crafty friends

What has been your best day ever?? Your wedding day? Birth of your child? Day you got your pet? Vacation you went on? Today's card is perfect for any of those occasions to celebrate.

My card uses the beautiful In Symmetry DSP which is on sale until August 2nd and the Tailored Tags dies.

I would consider this a #simplestamping card. So simple to make and yet so pretty

This card was so easy to put together.

It consists of layers and some layered tags

I chose my layer colors from the DSP, Soft Succulent, Calypso Coral, Bumblebee & Basic White.

Stampin' Up! always makes color coordination so easy.

I used Soft Succulent for the sentiment and Calypso Coral for the flower as well.

I used those same colors on the inside of the card too.

I like to stamp the inside of the card, otherwise I feel like it's a blank canvas. LOL

Beauty of Earth Card

Hello everyone!

Hope you are having a great week and are able to get out more often.

Maybe staying home and crafting too. LOL

My card uses the beautiful Beauty of Earth DSP. The sentiments are from the Color & Contours Stamp Set. The Beauty of Earth DSP is on sale now until August 2nd, you might want to stock up on it LOL.

I love the colors so much! I used a Cherry Cobbler card base and layered the DSP on top of it.

I cut out a Basic White, Mossy Meadow and DSP scalloped edge and layered them on one another.

I finished it off by adding some Holiday Rhinestones and an Early Espresso bow.

Let's not forget the inside.

I stamped the sentiment inside with Mossy Meadow ink

Workshop Wednesday - In The Wild

Hello Everyone!

Today is Workshop Wednesday!!

My Workshop Wednesday's are going to look a little different for awhile.

Instead of me making the usual three projects I will start making only one project.

I have a lot of things going on right now I can only handle the one project,  I'm so sorry. My project sheets will be different as well.

I love the card I created today, The In the Wild DSP does all of the work!

I really didn't have to add a sentiment, I think the Tigers are amazing all alone.

I used the colors in the DSP, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen along with the DSP.

My sentiments are from the stamp sets Sweet Strawberry (front) and In Symmetry (inside).

Peony Sympathy card

 Hi everyone,

Today I have the type of card I dread making, sympathy.

I have had to make more than my fair this last year and a half.

I'm using my most favorite DSP, the Buffalo Check from the Pattern Party DSP pack.

I layered the Buffalo Check DSP on top of a piece of Basic Black cardstock.

I cut my Peony pieces from Vellum and used my Blending Brush with Gorgeous Grape ink to add some color to the Peony.

Before adhering my layer to the card base I tied some Glittered Organdy ribbon around it and tied a bow.

The Peony is so easy to put together, I used glue dots to hold the pieces together.

I used Garden Green cardstock for the leaves and Gorgeous Grape for the center of the Peony. 

I added Wink of Stella to the leaves and center of the Peony as well.

I cut out a Basic White tag using the Hippo and Friends Dies, stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.

Measurements for this card:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White cardstock folded in half-Card base

3 7/8" x 5 1/8" Basic Black cardstock-Layer

3 3/4" x 5" Pattern Party DSP-Layer

3 1/2" x 2 1/2" Basic White- Tag

5 1/4" x 4" Vellum- Peony pieces
