March to a Different Beat- We Create Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to another, We Create Blog Hop.

This month's theme is March to a different beat. I chose to use the Bee My Valentine Bundle for a St. Patrick's day goodie box. This stamp set was designed for Valentines, but I'm Marching to a different beat by using it for St. Patricks Day.

As most of you know I love to make treat packages. I found these adorable Bumble Bee Marshmallows at Walmart and they are individually wrapped too,  woo hoo.

Bee's like four leaf clovers too, right?

This box is easy to create and the clear lid give's you a sneak peek at the adorable bee marshmallows!

I used a 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of Garden Green cardstock to create my box.
I scored all four sides at 1".  Burnish all of the score lines. I cut up the score lines on the long sides. I glued each of the tabs to the inside of the box. This created my box bottom.
used a 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of Window Sheet and scored all four sides at 1".  I used my Simply Scored Scoring Tool because you have to go over the score lines several times on the Window Sheet. This time I cut off all four of the tabs, I burnished the score lines and added the lid to the inside of the box bottom.
I tied some Garden Green Ribbon around the box and finished with a bow at the top.
I die cut the third to the largest scalloped circle from the Thoughtful Expressions dies out of Basic White cardstock. I die cut four hearts in Garden Green cardstock using the Give it a Whirl dies.
I stamped the stem in garden Green ink on the scalloped circle. I glued the hearts to the stem to make it look like a four leaf clover. I stamped "Love You" in Sweet Sorbet ink. Using the Bee Builder Punch, I punched out the bee body in Basic White cardstock. (I like to punch my pieces first then stamp). I stamped the bee's body in Daffodil Delight ink, then the stripes and face in Memento Black ink. I punched the two hearts out in Vellum, stamped them in Black Stazon ink. I adhered all of the pieces together using Liquid Glue. I added the bee to the scalloped circle using Dimensionals. I punched a hole at the top of the circle and used Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine to tie the scalloped circle to the Garden Green bow. I added a Gold Blooming Pearl to the center of the clover.

What do you think? Will you be making this box? Please let me know in the comments.
