Scrappy Technique Cards

Hello All,
I hope you all are doing well!
Today I have for you a fun technique called the Scrappy Strip technique. This was created by a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstartors husband Bruno Bertucci. This technique has taken off and everyone is having fun with it. My friend and fellow demonstrator Patti Davidson from Patti's Stampin' Shenanigans introduced me to it and I got hooked, I can't stop making these cards.
First off it's called Scrappy Strip because you use your leftover scraps, you know us crafters never throw anything away because we'll eventually use it, right? haha so we tell ourself that, anyhow now we can use them!! Yay!
I have a lot of cards to share with you, like I said I couldn't stop making them.

I pulled out my scraps, stamp sets and ribbons and went to work.
You can use any stamp set you have.

Oh my! I love the color Magenta Madness!!

Here I used the Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set and

Again I used the Ridiculously Awesome stamp-set and the

I needed a masculine one so I used the A Good Man stamp set and some Linen Thread

I had so much fun making these.

There is no right or wrong way to make a card using this technique.
Every card will be different, you cut your strips the way you want to.
Here I used the Strong & Beautiful stamp set and Magenta Madness Ribbon, so pretty.

On this card I did not angle my strips, I kept them straight.
Here I used the Tasteful Touches stamp set and that gorgeous Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon.
And last but not least, I thought I'd try a Christmas card as well.
How do you like it?
Wow that was a lot of cards to share with you today, but like I said this technique is so addicting you can't stop once you start.
Again there is no right or wrong way to cut your strips, you can cut them any size and length you actually want them to over hang on the card then you just trim the excess off. You can find Bruno's video on You Tube.
I used cardstock as the bases of each card and the DSP's I used were the 2020-2022 In Colors and The Flowers for Every Season. I also used the In Color Enamel Dots to add some color.
I hope you will try this techinque and show me your cards.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Have a great day and thanks for stoppng by,
💙 Lisa
