Timeless Tropical Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

Well today concludes me using the True Love DSP.

All week I've been showing you different ways to use it, with color or without.

Today I used the Blending Brushes and Stampin' Blends to color the DSP.

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card.
For this card I added a piece of DSP for the background and layered another piece onto a piece of cardstock.
I used my Blending Brush with Balmy Blue ink to color the flowers in. I then used the Old Olive Stampin' Blends to color the leaves in. I like the way the leaves are a little bolder making them stand out.
I used the Tailored Tag punch to punch out a Basic Black and Basic White tag, I cut the Black tag in half and layered it behind the White tag. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and added a few Rhinestones.
I added the White bow to finish it off.

Thank you for joining me all week, while I showcased the True Love DSP.
It's only available until June 30th.
Which card was your favorite of the week?
Comment below and let me know.
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half

A Grand Kid Card

 Hi,

Today I decided to pull out my A Grand Kid stamp set to go with the True Love DSP.

This is another super easy card to make.

Today I used Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

Click on the picture to see the products I used to make this card.
My daughters favorite color is purple and I thought I'd make this card for her.
Although the stamp set is called A Grand Kid, you can use it for anyone.
I used the blending brush on both of my pieces of DSP this time with Gorgeous Grape ink.
I wrapped the beautiful Gorgeous Grape Ribbon around the card and tied a bow near the top.
I cut out a Scalloped Rectangle and Tag using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.
Let's not forget the inside, I thought this sentiment was perfect for my daughter.
She'd think it was funny.
Tomorrow I'll be finishing off the week with my last quick and easy card using the True Love DSP.

Flowers of Friendship Card

Hello everyone!

Today I am using the same amazing DSP on my card. The True Love DSP!

On this card I choose not to color the DSP, the color is all in the tag.

Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make this card
I used the new In color, Polished Pink.
It gives that big pop of color to the Black and White DSP.
I cut five strips of DSP and adhered them to the front.
I then stamped my flowers in Memento Black ink and colored them in using Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends.
I stamped the sentiment over the flowers using Memento Black ink.
I adhered the tag with dimensionals to the front.
I added a Polished Pink Ribbon Bow and some Clear Rhinestones to finish it off.
Another easy peasy card. What do you think?
You could make a lot of these cards in a little time.
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half
1" x 4" strips of DSP (5)
1 1/2" x 4 1/2" Basic White for the tag

Smile it's Your Time to Shine!

Hi, Happy Monday.
I hope you all had a great weekend. It's was VERY HOT, here in Northern California.
I stayed in my craft room trying to beat the heat!
This week I will be focusing on the Retiring True Love DSP. It is only available until June 30th or while supplies last. I love this DSP because it's all Black and White. You can add color if you want or use it the way it is. This week I'll show you several ways to use it.
Today's card I used Mango Melody with the Black and White DSP.
Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make this card
I love how bright Mango Melody is.
I used my Blending Brush and Mango Melody ink to color the top piece for some bright color.
I cut a Basic Black Scalloped Rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I heat embossed the Sentiment using White Embossing Powder.
The sentiment is from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set.
I finished it off with a Mango Melody Medium Daisy stamped in Memento Black before I punched it out. I added a few Clear Rhinestones to the tag.
Easy peasy!!
Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Thick Basic White folded in half
Two pieces of 4" x 3" DSP, use opposite sides.

Rainbow Flower Card

Hello everyone,

Today I have a very bright and cheery card!

I'm using the colors in the rainbow, Red Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue and Violet.

In Stampin' Up! colors that would be Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover (retired) you could use Shaded Spruce (current color), Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape.

Click on the picture to see the supplies I used to make the card.
I used the Friends are Like Seashells Stamp Set for the sentiment.
I used the same colors in Stampin' Write Markers to color in the stamp image.

How did I get all those flowers on there, you ask?
I punched all of the flowers out with the Bloom Punch (retired), uggg I know another retired item?
Many of you may still have it in your collection 😊
You can also do it with any flower die that you have as well.
There is also the Flowers and Leaves punch you can use.
I knew I would continue to use this punch so I kept it in my stash lol.
Back to what I did, after punching all of the flowers out,
I glued them to the card front making sure they'd fit.
I used my Paper Trimmer to cut off the excess flowers.
So easy but yet looks like a lot of work, right?
I used the same colors in Stampin' Write Markers to color in the stamp image.
Stamped it on a scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I adhered it with dimensionals to the card front.
I then added three flowers coordinating with the colors on the card front.
I added some Opal Rounds the the center of the three flowers.`
What do you think of my card? Please comment below.
I think it is bright and cheery!

Workshop Wednesday 6-16-21 Paper Pumpkin alternate projects

Hello!

Workshop Wednesday May 2021 Paper Pumpkin alternate projects.

Today I choose to use my May 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit for my quick and easy projects.

Using the supplies in the kit and a few extras in my craft room I made 3 easy tags.

I made these for the kids on my Grandson's baseball team.

Click on the picture to watch the video and
to see the items I used for the projects

I made a tag for a bag of Bubble Gum.
What kid doesn't like chewing bubblegum while playing baseball?

I made another tag and added it to a box of Cracker Jacks.
One of baseballs all time favorites.

Lastly I made a tag and attached it to a bag of fruit snacks.
All of these tags can be replicated so quick, that you can have enough for your team done in no time at all.
Be sure and join me every Wednesday at 10:00am over on my Facebook page.

Hand-Penned Card

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend.

Today I have a card using the Hand-Penned Bundle.

Click on the picture to get the supplies I used to make this card
I love how the Highland Heather and Mint Macaron go together.
I used the Hand-Penned DSP for my background and the scalloped edge die for my borders.
You can see the scalloped edges better in this picture.
The simplicity of stamping the flowers in Mint Macaron ink onto Mint Macaron cardstock and stamping the flowers again in Highland Heather ink on Basic White cardstock and cutting them out with the matching dies. Made this card come together so easily.
I added the Genial Gems to the centers of the flowers to give it some bling.
The gorgeous Highland Heather Ribbon, gives it some added sparkle.

Measurements for this card:
4 1/4" x 11" Highland Heather card base folded in half, cut the front edges with the scalloped edge die
3 1/2" x 5 1/2" Hand-Penned DSP
4" x 2 1/2" Mint Macaron
2" x 5/8" Basic White for the sentiment, stamped in Highland Heather ink
Basic White for the flowers and cut out with the matching die
5 1/4" x 4" Basic White for the inside

TGIF!

Today is my husband & nieces birthday.

When I seen the Hats Off Bundle, I knew I had to have it!

I made this adorable card for my niece, she loves the Las Vegas Raiders!

Since it was for my niece I had to add some bling!

The Pierced Blooms dies are always a good choice for flowers.
I used the Party Puffins Stamp Set for the sentiments and stamped them in Memento Black ink.
To top it off I added the Glittered Organdy Ribbon for that added sparkle.
Oh yea I almost forgot! The Buffalo Check DSP from the host special Pattern Party DSP pack.
I printed the Raider logo on my computer on Smoky Slate cardstock and cut it out with the die.
I know she is going to love it!

Party Puffins & Spiral Dye Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

Today I have a cute Birthday card. I started playing around with the Spiral Dye stamp set.

Then decided to add those cute little penguins from the Party Puffin stamp set and this is what I came up with.

(Click on the picture and it'll take you to the supplies I used)
The Penguins are so cute, right?
The one in the center even spins around with his balloon.
I added a magnet to the card base and one to the penguin so you can spin him around.
To do the Real Red and Pacific Point colors I used my Stamparatus and just moved it down once after I stamped the first color.

I stamped the inside with the little birthday cake.

Measurements for this card:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Pacific Point card base folded in half
5 1/4" x 4" Basic White two pieces, one for the outside and one for the inside
Real Red Stitched Rectangle- Heat embossed with White embossing powder
Basic White cardstock for the Penguins, stamped in memento ink and colored with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends
