Farmhouse Christmas- Birthday and Thank You Cards

Do you ever struggle making masculine cards?
I do, because I love to add bows, rhinestones and glitter.
Today I have two cards that are identical except one is a Birthday card and the other is a
Thank You card.
I use the Festive Farmhouse DSP for the back ground. This reminds me of a Flannel Shirt my dad had, so immediately I thought masculine.

I used the Picture Perfect Stamp Set for the sentiment.

I used the Many Blessings Stamp set for the sentiment.
Sometimes we need to thank the men in our lives too.

These cards were super simple to make. I love simple and quick!
I added a Braided Linen Trim knot  and stamped some stars from the Many Blessings Stamp Set.

My dad with his flannel shirt.
I lost my Dad in May of this year, I cherish every picture of him.

Directions to make this card:
11" x 4 1/4" Basic Black Card base, folded in half.
5 1/4" x 4" Festive Farmhouse DSP
1 1/2" x 4" Festive Farmhouse DSP
5 1/4" x 4" Whisper White Cardstock for the inside of the card
2 1/2 Basic Black Circle
Starburst Punch Circle in Whisper White

Buffalo Check and Real Red

Hello everyone!
Today, I've got another really cute card to share with you using the Country Home Stamp Set.
and the Buffalo Check Stamp
I started with a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Real Red card base and layered a  5" x  3 3/4" Whisper White piece that I stamped in Real Red using the Buffalo Check Stamp. Before I adhered the Red Buffalo Check piece to the card base I wrapped a piece of Striped Burlap Trim around it, then adhered it using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Next I stamped a large Real Red Scallop Oval in Memento Black ink, again using the buffalo Check Stamp. (I just love this stamp!)  The Pitcher and Flowers are Stamped in Memento Black ink and colored in with Real Red, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends and fussy cut. I also added Wink Of Stella to the cotton sprigs.
I then added the Hello sentiment, using mini dimensionals.
Last I added a Piece of Black Glittered Ribbon behind the pitcher.
Don't you just LOVE this card? I sure do, I think it's one of my favorites.

Thank you for stopping by, Have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Trick or Tweet Doggie Treats

Today I have a treat for our furry friends.
At Halloween there is a lot of chocolate around the house and our doggies can not have it.
So I wanted to make a treat for my grand-dogs as well as my neighbors who have dogs.
Even though I don't have cats I'm sure you can make some cat treats, since there is a cat stamp too!
These are so simple to make, you can make a bunch in no time at all!

Although the dog in the stamp set does not look like mine he sure is cute!

This is my dog, Bo. He will be 11 years old in November.
He's the best dog ever!

I used the medium size milk bones and some dog biscuits my neighbor bought for Bo at Costco.

The Medium Size Milk Bones fit 2 inside a 2" x 8" Cellophane Bag
and the dog biscuits from Costco hold 5.
I used the Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper, super cute.

Directions to make these adorable treats:
2" x 8" Cellophane Bag
5" x 2 1/2" Designer Series Paper, score at 2 1/2" and fold
Cut a Mango Melody Cardstock 2nd largest Stitched Shape square
Cut a Whisper White Cardstock 5th largest Scalloped Square and stamp the dog in Black Memento Ink. Color the dog in Light and dark Crumb Cake, light and dark Granny apple Green, Light and Dark Mango Melody and Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blends, layer together using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Staple the DSP to the top of the Cellophane bag and add the layered squares to the DSP using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add a Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon bow with a glue dot.
That's it, super duper easy and quick. I hope you enjoy this project.
